This comment is in reponse to the discussion spurred from the CBS news article posted by Professor Gibson. I agree with Bskool Bloggin's comments about the impact bloggers are having on the way media conglomerates are subject to even greater scrutiny. I do have to say though that I tend to disagree with what you said about smaller organizations having less credibility and therefore less responsibility to report factually (if that is indeed your argument). It seems to me that the larger the organization, the more they can get away with...but with the advent of blogging and increased consumer awareness, this seems to be changing.
